About
The concept for this site and the driving force behind the idea is Diana Rankin.
Diana has an MA from Antioch University in Human Spirituality and a BA in Humanities. Her study of sacred expressions of ancient cultures has led her to sacred places around the world. She regularly conducts workshops for private and business groups to enable people to discover a fuller actualization of themselves and their greatest human potential.
As a storyteller, she works in the great oral traditions of her Celtic and Delaware Indian heritage by dramatically telling the stories of her ancestors and the world’s legends, myths, and folktales. Fun, heartfelt, and filled with wisdom, Diana’s stories speak to the greater truths of life while touching the spirit of each individual listener.
As a public speaker, Diana has been crafting her talent both nationally and internationally since 1974. In the summer of 2002, Diana was a principal speaker at the International Conference on Healing in Killarney, Ireland and she was the keynote speaker at the Whole Woman’s Workshop in Dayton, Ohio. She has been artist-in-residence for schools and has performed for service and social clubs and at public gatherings. She is an adjunct instructor at Urbana University in Ohio, has taught at Antioch University in Ohio, and lecturer at both UCLA and USC in California. She has conducted seminars on presentation skills, writing and skills, and other topics for personal and professional growth at several major multinational corporations including Proctor & Gamble, Delco Products, Honda of America, General Motors, McDonnell Douglas, and Marion-Merrill Dow.
Diana is an experienced writer as well. She has written and edited textbooks and supplemental materials in world history and cultures, United States history, language arts, business and personal law, social studies, adult corporate training, volunteer leadership training, management, and personal growth texts for major national textbook publishers.
Diana is actively involved as a volunteer with the Humane Society Serving Logan County. She lives in rural Ohio with five dogs, three cats, and a host of deer, red tail hawks, and other wondrous creatures.
